Hailing from Jakarta, Warpweft Company focuses on diving deep into each detail that creates their products. They worship, live and breathe Japanese denim since day one.
Sharing the same vision, we at Cult of Indigo joined forces with Warpweft for a collaboration that made us all very proud.
Life can sometimes be a pretty hard road to pave. If you've ever ridden a motorcycle through the mud, you understand how difficult crossing that path can be.
We never stop striving to overcome gritty and dirty roads with hard work and persistence. That's why we named these 30 pieces limited-edition jeans "The Perseverance".
The Daruma character on our leather patch is a lucky charm and decoration in a typical Japanese household. These dolls also have a deeper meaning, serving as a reminder of hard work, discipline, focus, and perseverance.
Japanese Buddhism values self-discipline, and getting a Daruma is less about making a wish and more about a talisman that serves as a reminder of your life goals.
NEW ARRIVALS FROM TCB
This time the good folks at TCB denim Japan,
brought back to life some incredible vintage piece.
They took as reference a vintage Carhartte chore jacket from the 20's for the tag design. Carhartte vintage clothings are very popular in Japan as well as in the rest of the world and the famous heart-shaped tag was used on their garments between the 30's ~ the 40's but this Master Cloth one is even rarer, which was used only till the late 20's.
These Samurai x Old Blue “Kisouma” 21 OZ Slim Straight denim jeans ticks all the details we love from two of our favourite brands.
Samurai 21oz "Cho-kiwami" denim and Old Blue's 21/23oz “Beast” denim are just the canvas of this art piece, with unique details such as extra-long staple cotton composition (40% Pima cotton, 60% Egyptian cotton), label stitched into the waistband, Samurai’ signature 710 Cut, exclusive back pockets and sheepskin leather patch.
The exclusive collaboration stitches together a shared vision of denim, a true work of craft you know you need.
25th ANNIVERSARY MODEL
In commemoration of Samurai's 25th anniversary, they created this special denim by dyeing both the warp and the weft in natural indigo. While both warp and weft threads are uneven and slubby, it’s the weft in particular that they injected with a little extra unevenness to give this denim a spectacular visual expression and hand feel.
