SAMURAI "SJKS-SC02" COTTON SOCKS NATURAL
SAMURAI JEANS — SAMURAI COTTON SOCKS / KINARI
A dry, textured feel and natural kinari colour define these socks from Samurai Jeans. Made using cotton from the brand’s Samurai Cotton Project, they combine irregular yarns with softness and warmth for comfortable everyday wear.
The unbleached, high-twist yarn preserves the cotton’s natural beige shade and visible variations. Small fibres and an uneven surface give the socks their distinctive character, while the fabric feels soft against the skin.
The cotton is grown in Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, where Samurai’s project supports traditional Japanese cotton cultivation. Planted and harvested by hand, without pesticides or fertilizers, it requires careful work throughout the growing season, with each harvest dependent on local weather conditions.
From the cultivation to the finished yarn, these socks reflect Samurai’s attention to the raw material itself: natural colour, a tactile texture and the subtle differences that make each piece distinctive.
