Earth Denim is a celebration of purity, heritage, and sustainability—crafted entirely from materials gifted by the earth itself. At the core of this denim is FOX COTTON, a rare, ancient strain of naturally colored brown cotton that dates back over 5,000 years. Revived in 1989 by pioneering American entomologist Sally Fox, this cotton is grown organically, without the use of pesticides or defoliants, and remains untouched by genetic modification—unlike the vast majority of modern cotton.
Unlike conventional white cotton, FOX COTTON retains its original, naturally rich color, eliminating the need for harmful bleaching or dyeing processes. From spinning to weaving, the yarns used in Earth Denim are minimally processed to preserve the cotton’s natural character.
The warp threads are dyed with natural indigo using kase-zome, a traditional Japanese skein dyeing technique that deeply saturates each fiber, resulting in a rich, long-lasting hue. Paired with undyed weft threads, the fabric showcases both contrast and harmony. Woven with irregular yarn under low tension, the 15oz denim develops a unique, earthy texture that feels raw and honest.
In keeping with its organic philosophy, Earth Denim forgoes artificial hardware. Instead, it features natural nut buttons, undyed cotton stitching, and no synthetic rivets—ensuring every component remains rooted in nature. The result is a denim that doesn’t just wear beautifully—it wears ethically.
