Founded in 1997 in Osaka, Samurai is one of the most appreciated denim labels in the world. The name was inspired by the duel of 1612 between Sasaki Kojiro and Miyamoto Musashi, the two swordsmen were bitter rivals at the time.  The duel began with both men on guard as a show of respect for the other’s skill with their own style and technique. In the end, though, there could be only one winner. Musashi had provoked Kojirō to make the first attack. Miyamoto quickly countered and succeeded in breaking Kojirō’s left ribs and puncturing his lungs, eventually killing him.  With such history behind, Samurai Jeans could never go wrong and built a history of its own in the denim world.


Classic heavy chino pants made by the popular original sulfur dyed selvedge chino. It is a gem of selvedge Chino fabric that is made by dyeing thick No. 6 thread, which is not usually found in Chino, with sulfur dye in khaki color, and then firmly driving it with an old power loom. Because it is dyed with sulfur dye, you can enjoy the discoloration and atari feeling over time. The silhouette is slender and has a shallow rise so that you can wear it neatly. On the back, we use the family crest pattern slake that is familiar with the blade model, and in consideration of compatibility with heavy fabrics, we have made it a tack button specification and adopted a Matsunoki button. In addition, guarantee tickets and upper names are specifications unique to Chinos.
