2. Left Twill Denim: Made from original 14oz left twill selvedge denim, this fabric exhibits rapid color fading and features a distinctive "line fall" effect resembling drawn lines.

3. G3 Denim: Crafted from 14oz right twill selvedge denim woven on Japan's earliest power loom, Toyota Industries' G3. This denim boasts a natural uneven texture and roughness, with pronounced spotting for a unique aesthetic.

4. DO-1 Denim: SDA signature 15oz right twill selvedge denim, meticulously researched and spun to replicate the original fabric from the release of "DO-1." Dyed using Awa Tokushima Soai's skein-dyeing technique, this denim offers a slow, gradual fading process.

These are 15.0oz selvedge jeans featuring "Ai Shibu dyed" treatment. Ai-shibu dyeing is an intricate and time-intensive technique, involving initial dyeing with real indigo to achieve a vibrant blue hue, followed by layering with persimmon tannin. The indigo dyeing results in a deeper color compared to regular methods, with the persimmon tannin intensifying in hue with use, thanks to tannin's property of undergoing condensation polymerization over time.

Persimmon juice, also recognized for its high antibacterial and deodorizing properties, has been historically used in Chinese herbal medicine. Japanese culture, with its reverence for the changing seasons and the ephemeral beauty of nature, finds expression in the colors achieved through indigo dyeing. These hues, passed down through generations, are known as "Japanese colors," possessing a profound and captivating allure that resonates deeply with admirers. The silhouette of these jeans is a regular straight fit.

This is STUDIO D'ARTISAN's iconic first model, the pioneering vintage-style selvedge jeans "DO1".

The "DO1" fabric for this project has been meticulously recreated by researching its original material and incorporating a 6th thread to replicate the twist count and the distinctive uneven texture from spinning.

Employing the traditional "Kasezome" dyeing technique of Tokushima Tatemasa Ai, great attention has been given to the meticulous process of "dyeing and drying, dyeing and drying" at least 20 times until achieving the rich navy blue hue.

The new "DO1" maintains the stylish thickness inherited from French workwear, utilizing original Tokushima Tatemasa indigo kase-dyed 15oz fabric. It features a regular straight silhouette.
